If you can tolerate a bit of pub noise it’s great value. The room and bathroom were spotless. The TV had no signal, but I don’t watch TV so it didn’t matter.

Very loud music from the pub until late evening, the heating was off despite cold nights.

The price is very reasonable, but that shows in the fact that there’s no place to eat in town except take‑aways and the location is extremely noisy. Noise: it’s above a busy pub with very little sound insulation. My room was right above a busy courtyard that stayed noisy until 11 pm. Also, at 6:30 am on Saturday, staff downstairs were shouting at each other, waking me up. On Sunday, staff were again making loads of noise at 8:30 when checkout isn’t until 10. No car park spaces were available because they’re full of unused picnic benches.
