From the moment I checked in the room was a mess—dust and hair on the floor, curtains had turned a dull gray, and the nightstand was tiny while the oversized bed sagged under me. The pillows were rock‑hard and stacked too high, so I ended up sleeping without one, and there was never any sign of fresh linens or even a bottle of water during my five‑night stay.

The hotel sits right in the city centre, so everything you might need is just a short walk away, which is a real plus. Unfortunately, there was nothing that stood out as enjoyable and the whole place looks like it’s overdue for a makeover. The location is fantastic—everything is within easy reach and the staff were always ready to help, which made getting around a breeze. The personnel were genuinely friendly and the Soviet‑era building gave the place a unique, pleasant atmosphere. On the downside, the shower temperature fluctuated wildly, the Wi‑Fi was unreliable, and the drainage in the bathroom left a lot to be desired. It’s a charming spot if you can overlook those practical issues.
