The location is close to Gatwick. The only downside was having to climb two flights of stairs with large bags.

The location for Royston is super, good for Cambridge. The staff cannot be faulted; service was excellent. Breakfast and dinner were good quality and enjoyable. The room furnishings are basic and the bathroom is acceptable but clean with no complaints. TV reception and the remote were rubbish.

The location is good, and the owner was very friendly. The bed was very comfy and the shower great with amazing water pressure. The bathroom door could not be closed shut, and the water took ages to drain from the sink. It just needs a little maintenance in the room we stayed in.

Clean, comfortable, good food, and staff extremely handy for the airport. Nothing else to add.

Nothing good to say. The hotel is just one bus stop from Gatwick, but knowing that the bus runs 24 hrs and serves many other local hotels, I would have stayed five stops away in a better place. There was nothing to like. It’s a 2‑star accommodation (studio flats in old converted houses) advertised as a 4‑star hotel. The carpets were stained, the mattress was badly stained when I removed the sheets, the sink is in the bedroom, the shower has little pressure, the furniture was old and outdated, the photos didn’t truly reflect the accommodation, and there is no lift! Carry your bags across the road from reception, through a pathway, into an old building across the road, and then carry bags upstairs to a room that costs £30 a night was not what I signed up for, especially when advertised as 4‑star.
