“Relaxing stay”
Everything was very clean and peaceful.
The location and staff were great. The shower water temperature was only lukewarm at best and couldn’t be made hotter.
“Treat”
The room was spacious, the bed ultra‑comfortable, the bathroom huge, the food excellent, and the staff friendly and helpful, though there were minor decor issues and the service lagged a bit.
“The Best of Ireland in one place. TM”
Classic, comfortable rooms and excellent food that lived up to expectations where many similar hotels disappoint. Every staff member was exceptional, attentive, friendly, and super efficient, which sets this resort apart from many others in Ireland. The only downside was that my stay felt too short.
“Our stay at Castlemartyr was excellent. The staff and service was amazing. Would love to go back.”
The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were clean and nice. Walking around the hotel was fun because there’s interesting art everywhere, and an old castle on the property adds to the charm. Breakfast was excellent, with a buffet and hot, made‑to‑order items. We enjoyed drinks at the Knights Bar and the Brasserie Bar, both great. Dinner at the Canopy was also excellent. We could walk easily to town and eat at the Hunted Hog, a traditional Irish pub owned by the resort. Some of our group loved golfing. The grounds were beautiful, and I’d definitely return. Parking is free in a large lot. The only suggestion is that more casual afternoon food options would be nice, and more restaurants in town would help since the walk from the hotel is easy. We only ate at the Hunted Hog while in town.
