“Pleasant base for a festival weekend”

A very pleasant, peaceful base while I performed at a festival about 10 miles away. The bed was comfortable, the wet room was fine, there was a TV, tea and coffee supplies, and breakfast was delivered through a door between my room and the owner’s house, ordered the day before from a list. I also liked meeting the donkeys! No cooking facilities are available, but the owner provides a list of takeaway options that can be delivered.

“Peaceful”

Lovely little place, very quiet and peaceful. Loved the donkeys and other animals, and we were given food to feed them ourselves. The takeaway food and breakfast were outstanding, fresh and home‑cooked. The bed was very comfy and everything was clean. Everything you could possibly need was included. It was perfect for us.

Fabulous breakfasts and a comfortable, well equipped room. Loved the rescue animals on site and Bernie was very welcoming. Great place to stay
