We loved how close the castle and local shops were, plus the free parking right behind the hotel; the breakfast was exquisite with a wide selection, and the bar/restaurant staff were friendly and attentive, especially the bar manager who treated us like royalty. The hotel has a charming soul, a story, and has been well renovated. The downside was the street noise and early‑morning truck traffic from nearby delivery trucks, and the reception desk was cold, smiling‑less, and only gave the bare minimum, which is a shame for such a nice place.
