I found the place to be quiet and secluded, but you need a car to get there. The property itself is beautiful and already feels like a place to relax. The Massaria has a lot of charm; the exterior is kept natural while the interiors are modern.
The place is pretty and distinctive, but the pool was a let‑down.

“Niet de kamer die is afgebeeld op de foto’s”
The old Masseria is lovely and very atmospheric, and the restaurant is good—especially the tiramisu, one of the best we've had in Puglia. However, our room differed from the picture. When we reported it at reception, the girl said the photos were “illustrative” and gave a rather harsh reply. The room lacked a glass front, had two single beds pushed together instead of a large double bed, and the shower overflowed into the bathroom. They should create a separate room type to avoid misleading guests; it was a shame because it negatively affected the experience.
