The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is ideal for a stay if you’re attending an event there.

Set in the woods, it’s quiet even though it’s near a busy dual carriageway. The restaurant is good, the bed is comfortable, and the room is spacious. The downside is the access to and from a very fast and busy road with a central reserve barrier, meaning you have to go down to the next junction and do a U‑turn. I’m not a fan of the cat poo everywhere.

The food was good, yet I paid for a deluxe room and was given a standard two‑star room instead, the towels were never changed and the room wasn’t cleaned; I raised this with the staff but nothing happened.
