The only bright spot was the lemon water, but everything else was a disaster: we booked online expecting a pool, hot tub, and Jacuzzi, yet the pool and hot tub were out of order and the Jacuzzi’s jets were still dirty and took ages to fill and drain; the tub looked clean but the jets were clogged, and I found a dead bug in the bathroom when I woke early to pee. We left before the end of our stay, and it seemed like the place was still being fixed up—roaches were present, and the new ownership hadn’t addressed these issues yet.

The staff went above and beyond to keep us comfortable and attend to our needs, even though the hotel was undergoing renovations and supplies were temporarily in the lobby; it didn’t ruin the stay.

I was told the room was available for the night, but after I bought it, I was told the hotel was fully booked and I was hit with a cancellation fee.
