The atmosphere was friendly in this beautiful B&B, and the owner was a pleasure to deal with. Our bedroom was warm, comfortable, spotless, and the breakfast was delicious – I would definitely recommend it. I’ll definitely come back.

I stayed at Plantation Lodge for the second time and brought my sister along; she loved it just as much as I did. Kathleen and her family are always very welcoming at their charming lodge. Our room was perfect – very clean, cozy, and warm. The beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast had a great selection, including cereals, pastries, breads, jams, fruits, yoghurts, deli items, and a variety of beverages. I will definitely visit again, as the location is great for exploring the Dun a Ri forest and Cabra Castle.

The location was perfect for the wedding we attended at Cabra Castle. Kathleen and her husband were so welcoming and made the whole experience so easy. There was nothing negative.

The lodge is great – well priced and the facilities are great. Kathleen, the owner, is brilliant and very accommodating. Some rooms have a shared bathroom.
