“Don’t expect a lot”
The location is great, but the rooms were dirty, the facilities were lacking, the rooms felt tired, and the staff were unfriendly.
“I needed a bed and they had one”
I only had to stay one night, but being on the second floor with no elevator would have been a nightmare for my handicapped mother‑in‑law; I thought I saw a pool on the property but apparently there isn’t one; bring your own blankets because the ones on the bed are super thin; breakfast was just a couple bagels, a few donuts you could buy at the gas station, slices of bread, and a small assortment of cereal.
“Reasonably priced, close to Louisville highlights”
It was close to everything we wanted to see—Kentucky Derby, Louisville football stadium, food spots—and a short drive to most places in the area, but an update wouldn’t hurt.
The customer service was excellent.
“we liked our stay. The staff were very nice.”
The property was clean and well maintained, though there was no elevator.
