Booking a BnB on my own for the first time was a hit; the host was super friendly and very helpful. The morning walk along the river was amazing, and the historic building itself feels like a living museum with many original artifacts beautifully preserved by the host. As a trans woman, I sensed a quiet but genuine kindness, and the host is very gender‑inclusive. The puzzle in the living room offered a nice break from my mum. On the downside, the price is a bit high for the relatively simple facilities, and there was a slight musty smell downstairs, though I understand it’s an old building.
