We spent two nights in this charming, historic house. The place is really pleasant, with a beautiful pool and a peaceful atmosphere. We especially appreciated the quiet, even though it’s in the city center—once inside, the city noise disappears. The house is still being renovated, which explains some minor adjustments. When we arrived, workers were present but left us to enjoy our stay. Because the rooms we had initially booked were still under construction, we were moved to the upper floor. We also had breakfast on site for €5 per person, a convenient option, though I’d recommend eating outside. Two nights seemed enough, as Taroudant is mainly for those seeking calm, rest, and authenticity rather than many activities. One small regret: we’d have liked to learn more about the house’s history, which seems to have a lot to tell. It’s a place with great potential and definite charm. We wish the owners continued success with the renovations to preserve and further highlight this magnificent site. The courtyard photos are outdated and don’t match the current state. Additionally, the street leading to the entrance is dark and dirty, which isn’t very pleasant or reassuring when entering at night.
