The sign at the desk warned that the place was closed, yet the staff insisted I call David. He told me there was a key for room 278 on the desk, but the location was empty, lacking curtains, furniture, or any other cars. I called David again, confessed my fear, and asked for a refund, but he laughed and told me to handle it elsewhere. I was robbed of my money because the room was non‑refundable, and I had to pay a second time for a different accommodation.

I booked a room through a platform and when we pulled up, the property looked sketchy. After driving for 10 hours because other hotels were full for a big sports event, we were too exhausted to keep looking. When we entered the room, we saw many dead cockroaches in the hallway, a filthy carpet, and icky smells. The room itself was no better: dead cockroaches, dried bug poop on the sheets that had been raised but wouldn't come off, a nasty place overall. We went back to the front desk and told them we couldn’t stay, calling it disgusting. The guy replied that the room had just been remodeled and it was a budget hotel, and that if we wanted a refund we’d have to go through the company we booked through. I contacted them and they called the motel and said they wouldn’t respond. I called again… no luck. They refused to give a refund and we didn’t even stay there. We drove another 2 hours and slept in our truck in a parking lot. Do yourself a favor and don’t even consider staying here. This was by far the crappiest, filthiest place we’ve ever seen in many years of traveling and staying in hotels. If they ever have a health inspection done, I’m sure they’d close this dump down. The recent remodel was done by amateurs, with mismatched molding, tile, and carpeting. The place is very poorly maintained, a ladder in the courtyard, and doors that don’t fit properly.

It was really comfortable, quiet, and everything worked. Everything I liked was there, nothing I didn’t like, and everything was good.

I recently had the chance to stay at this hotel, and while it's clear they're working hard to revamp the property, there's still a lot of work to be done. The staff seemed friendly and enthusiastic, which was a nice touch, but the facilities themselves were showing their age. I appreciated the effort to bring this older hotel up to date, but it's clear they're still in the process of making improvements. With a bit more time and investment, I think this hotel could be a real gem.
