The location was great with stunning views and fit our needs perfectly, but the rooms were a bit noisy; we could hear someone snoring next door and an air conditioning unit outside made a very loud noise that woke us at about 2 am.

The place was well situated and offered good value for a one‑night stay, though parking spaces can be a bit tight for larger vehicles.

The hotel sits in a lovely spot close to the town centre and the city park; the twin room was spacious with nice views over the town and glimpses of the river, and there were no complaints.

“Lovely property close to town, but you need a car unless you’re good at climbing hills !”

We appreciated the thoughtful touches, decent toilet paper, lovely tea and coffee, and a very comfortable bed and pillows, making it a lovely stay overall, but the air‑con in the room needed servicing because it was noisy; I turned it off at night.
