I stayed 3 nights and the experience was truly beautiful. Casa Bonita lives up to its name: it’s a very cozy place where you literally feel at home. Its location is excellent, just two blocks from the land terminal, which makes getting around a lot easier. Oscar’s service was first‑class; he is extremely kind and always ready to give the best recommendations. He also runs his own tour agency with impeccable service and highly recommended. He helped me with activities in La Paz and even organized tours to Uyuni; when I left, he arranged the entire tour there so I didn’t have to worry about anything, which was very helpful. The facilities are spotless, very clean and well maintained. The terrace offers a beautiful view and ideal spaces for relaxing and socializing with other travelers, and the shared kitchen is great for making simple breakfasts or meals. A 10/10 experience! Everything was excellent during my stay.

Casa Bonita feels like a sweet home with a warm atmosphere. I had stayed in another hostel in La Paz before and I really noticed the difference. People greet each other, and it’s easy to chat. The rooms are cute, the rooftop terrace is nice with a good view, and the kitchen is well equipped with a smoothie maker that I loved using in the mornings for fresh fruit from the market. The most important part is the staff. I’m bad with names, but I think his name is Oscar, an angel. He goes above and beyond for guests, helping me a lot! I had forgotten a bag on the bus from Rurrenabaque to La Paz, he called the bus company and took over the WhatsApp conversation with their office, and in the end I got my bag back! That’s normally almost impossible, because bus companies don’t have a lost and found box here. I was very lucky and it would have been impossible without him, especially with my non‑existent Spanish. He even offered to pick up the bag and send it to Sucre, because I already had a bus booked that evening, so I stayed one more day to get it back. He also helped me fix my SIM card issue, gave me tips for trips, and more. I could also leave a bag at the hostel while continuing my travels in Bolivia. Other staff members were sweet and easy‑going. Thank you again for everything; I’m still so grateful for your kindness and endless hospitality!

Amazing home‑like hostel environment right near the La Paz bus terminal. Comfortable setting, very kind and helpful staff (especially Oscar, Jazz). I would come back if I ever drop by La Paz again. It’s a little far from the main center, but that’s not a huge deal. The close proximity to the bus terminal makes up for it. Everything else was lovely!

The value for money was great. The staff were very accommodating and easy‑going. Having the hostel provide pick‑up was great when arriving in the middle of the night. There was hair from past guests on the blankets and floor. There was a bit of a foul smell in the washroom.
