The stay was a dream: the accommodation sat in a beautiful area, spotless, and the host was warm and pleasant. We felt great staying there, received excellent restaurant and activity tips, and the garden, view, and pool were indescribably lovely. We booked breakfast on site, which was tasty, cozy, and family‑friendly. Thanks also for the helpful advice on fixing a flat tire—worked perfectly 😊

There were only a few guests, a quiet room with a stunning beach/sea view. Sleep was wonderful. The host was extremely friendly and excellent at service. After the first visit we drove to Addo and spent the night back here on the way back, and it was again perfect. Highly recommend for the drive to Cape Town—skip the garden route and take route 62 to the end! Beautiful.

From the instant we stepped in, we knew this was a special spot; Ocean Bay Luxury Guesthouse sits perfectly by the water, is immaculately kept, and has every amenity you could wish for. What really sets it apart is Kerstin—her genuine warmth, kindness, and meticulous attention to detail make you feel instantly at home, and that personal touch is evident throughout the whole property and in each guest suite. We stayed for two nights and everything was flawless: the rooms are stylish, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped, making settling in a breeze. Leaving felt hard because the place has a unique charm that sticks with you long after you go. We’re already planning a return. If you’re heading to Jeffreys Bay and want top‑class hospitality, comfort, and a memorable stay, this is it. For us, Kerstin feels like a little piece of Germany in South Africa, and we couldn’t have asked for a better host. Absolutely nothing to complain about!
