The blankets are too thick; even with the air conditioning on, it's still very hot, and it's cold without them. We suggest providing thin towel blankets as well, since some guests prefer thick blankets while others prefer lighter ones

You can feel fresh air early in the morning because this hotel is at the edge of the city. The exhaust fan in the attached bathroom can’t really vent out the odor; it tracks up the bathroom ceiling. Not all bedrooms have a window, especially lower‑ground or intermediate units.

The hostel sits a short walk from the town centre, which keeps it quiet—something I really appreciate. The centre itself is only a few hundred metres away and can get pretty noisy and busy. The staff were super friendly and amazing. There’s a cafe on site that serves excellent coffee and desserts. My room was great, and the dormitories had a nice feel too. Overall, the place has a very modern, almost Japanese‑inspired hipster vibe, which is pretty unique for Betong; it feels more like a boutique hotel than a hostel. The only downside is that it’s not an old establishment or a large hotel, so tuk‑tuks aren’t familiar with the name, but giving directions is easy, so it’s not a big problem at all.

The air conditioning works well. The only issue was a smell coming from the toilet.

The location isn’t far from the busy area, and the room was comfortable with a 6‑bed arrangement. It can be a little loud because the hostel has a cafe in the lobby, and sometimes you can hear noise from outside. The toilet and shower are only one. Motorcycle parking is limited.
