Zajazd Park

We liked the proximity to the German border and thus to Fürst Pueckler Park. It was also nice that parking was available either on the property or right next to it. Depending on the weather, you can sit indoors or outdoors. The food was good and plentiful. The room was quite rustic furnished, but it was sufficient for two nights. We didn’t expect luxury for the price.

Breakfast was decent, a pity the selection was small. Close to shops and main attractions. From the start the bathroom smelled bad, a stain under the toilet that looked like an unwashed poop and a floating condom inside the bowl. Overall the bathroom seemed unclean before arrival, the floor as well. The bed creaked terribly. Thin curtains let light from the courtyard lamp into the room at night; that didn’t bother me, but someone else might have trouble sleeping. For that price it’s a terrible choice with plenty of things to improve.

The location was good, just a few kilometres from the German border, and the price was super affordable, but the breakfast was only savory, a pre‑made dish served with no choice. The restaurant was normal with high prices. The room had old furnishings and a TV that didn’t work. We could hear other guests coughing from the rooms next door, and the staff didn’t speak a word of English, so we had to rely on Google Translate.
