“Ridiculously awful and should be removed from Booking.com”
The property sits on the edge of the main street opposite the pier, with several eateries within walking distance, and it’s near the town’s end toward the national park. I booked a quadruple room advertised as two kings and two twins, but when I arrived the room didn’t exist and I was forced into two separate rooms. The replacement room had a patio door that wouldn’t close or lock, exposing us to heat, bugs, and a lack of security; the wrap‑around patio made it easy for anyone to enter. When I raised the issue the staff promised a fix the next day, but it never happened and they said the parts were coming from the mainland and it wasn’t possible. I asked for a dowel rod to keep the door closed, and only on our last day did they do the work. After we settled the bill, the staff denied us access to the purified water that was normally available on site, insisting we had to buy it, and they became rude, unfriendly, and almost pushed us out the door on the morning of our departure, refusing to hold our luggage. I felt unsafe leaving my belongings with them, and their behavior was questionable.
