The room only had sheer curtains, so street light poured in all night, and the raised ground‑floor suite lacked any bathroom curtain. There was no staff on site, so we had to manage everything ourselves using a code to get into the house and the room. They did give us a voucher for a breakfast at the Comfort Inn hotel.

Connellsville is charming and the Chateau was unique and beautiful just as described. We loved admiring the eclectic decor, especially the fantastic fireplaces and chandeliers. There were Keurigs in the room along with a couple of pods. There were lids for coffee and sugar packets, but no cups! A few stoneware cups and saucers were in the common kitchen, but no paper “to‑go” cups anywhere. It would also have been nice to have access to ice and maybe some bottles of water. There were also no cups or glasses in the room to get tap water. I did find a glass in the common kitchen.

My recent stay at this hotel was a mixed experience. The beautiful decor of our suite was truly impressive and set a high standard for the rest of our stay. However, things took a turn for the worse when we discovered that the 'breakfast' consisted of vouchers to a nearby buffet, which was inconvenient and not what we had expected.
