This hotel turned out to be the most fantastic gem in Marcillac‑Vallon, an oddly relaxed town; we were lucky to arrive on a Saturday night and be greeted by the Sunday market, the food was great, the staff were friendly, and it’s definitely a place to relax.

The hotel is very well equipped, everything looks new and high‑quality, and the rooms are very quiet; the town itself is beautiful. The restaurant serves good food but the portions are tiny, so a large‑built man will still be hungry – I ended up eating two bananas from my room to avoid going to bed hungry. Breakfast could be much better; there’s very little variety and the portions are small.
