It’s a bit remote, so you feel like you’re in the jungle. The hosts are super friendly; I arrived a bit before check‑in and my room wasn’t ready, but I got a free upgrade to one of their new rooms. The bed is incredibly comfortable! There were a lot of mosquitoes, but that’s the region.

The guest house sits in a picturesque spot, away from noise and hustle. The room was spacious and clean, air conditioning worked, and hot water was available. A bonus was the rare opportunity to use a washing machine. Breakfasts were incredibly delicious! They even showed me and explained all the secrets of making that amazing rice. The hosts are kind, welcoming, always smiling, and happy to help with any questions at any time. Our stay happened during the New Year celebration; we were warmly invited to join the table with treats, and we set off fireworks and lit sparklers together in the evening. I’m deeply impressed by the kind and open‑hearted people we met here!

What a lovely place to stay if you’re in the south. First, I felt immediately at home with the place and the family. I was invited to a family dinner on the first evening. The guesthouse is a bit inland, surrounded by beautiful nature and wildlife. As a solo traveler, I felt very comfortable and safe here. The breakfast served every morning is truly excellent. The host loves to let you taste everything from the region—ask for it. Rooms are clean, have AC and hot water. I’ll definitely come back and strongly recommend it to others. Come for a fantastic local experience in Sri Lanka.
