The room was super clean, no dust anywhere. I didn't notice any other issues. Just a spotless stay.

They served spoiled food, and when I brought it up to the staff and reception, they seemed indifferent, didn't say much, no apology. Maybe because the dishes aren't pricey they use that as a reason to serve bad food that could make you sick. Not a good sign.

The La Gran Estancia team was exceptional—friendly and helpful. But the info on the website said there was an airport transfer that the hotel doesn't actually provide, and after booking you get penalties. So great staff, but misleading details.

We were worried after reading bad reviews and a warning from my girlfriend's daughter that the hotel was old and bad. Our request to cancel with waived fees was ignored, which was the worst part. Still, the place is charming, the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable, but the price is high and they don't accept credit cards.

The outside facilities were nice, but the room had bad maintenance—panels were in poor shape. Hot water never came on, wasting a lot of water before a little heat finally arrived. Overall, the room left a lot to be desired.
