The staff, particularly Mourad and his team, were incredibly friendly and helpful, and I loved the decor of the hotel.
The hotel was very clean and had hot drink facilities in the reception area, as well as comfy chairs to relax in.
The breakfast was also outstanding, with high-quality foods and a beautiful setting.

“Highly recommend this hotel and location. It was a highlight to our Paris adventure.”
Hotel Fontaine's du Luxembourg surpassed our expectations. Mourad, the manager, and his team went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hotel was a highlight for my sister and me, and we loved the location, the ambience, and the short walk to Luxembourg Park. The room was small but cozy and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The lift, cool air‑conditioning, and complete soundproofing were perfect. Every morning, the amazing “Dellal” served a beautiful breakfast and even gave us a cool bottle of water to start the day. The Latin Quarter felt very Parisian and was a short stroll from most main attractions. I highly recommend this hotel and its location.
“Had it not been such a royal pain, would have switched hotels entirely.”
It’s hard to find anything positive here; it was certainly not what we expected. We arrived to discover the hotel was under renovation, the windows were covered, and the room and furniture were worn and scratched.
“Disgusting and Disappointed”
There was absolutely nothing to like. The property was closed, and we were moved to a “sister” hotel on a side road several blocks away without any notification or consent from the person who booked. I was caught off guard and quite angry. The hotel management’s arrogance in assuming guests would accept the change was a blatant display of poor business practice. The new property, Le Clos Medicis, was terrible: staff were indifferent or even insolent, insisted on keeping an absurd room key chain with a massive leather tassel, a room card for electricity, and a specialized metal entry key for security. The bathroom was filthy, with mold on the tiles, shower caulking, and tile floor corners.
“Très beau séjour, j'y retournerais.”
The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was a bit small but very well situated.
“The entire stay was over and above!!”
Everything was perfect. The location was fabulous, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and thanks for everything! Nothing to add.
