A private balcony offers lake views for the bungalow with garden view. The unit includes a living room, a separate bedroom and three beds, accommodating up to three guests. Two private bathrooms each contain a bathtub. A flat‑screen TV and a tea‑and‑coffee maker are provided for entertainment and convenience.
The place sits right on the river, the first spot you hit after the waterfall, and breakfast offered a good variety while dinner served grilled fish. The booking details were misleading: the site showed two duplex bungalows, but when we arrived there was one duplex and another unit with a balcony on the upper floor.
I fell in love with the warm and welcoming atmosphere of this place. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel like I was in a little slice of heaven. The location was perfect, and I loved the friendly staff almost as much as I loved the setting.
“Fabelhaft !!”
I was blown away by the incredible hospitality of the hosts - they're truly one of a kind. The food was amazing, the accommodation was cozy and charming, and the sound of the water was so soothing. Plus, the nearby waterfalls were just a short walk away. When I had a flat tire, they sorted it out in no time, and even fixed it for a mere 7 euros. It's no wonder we ended up extending our stay - the hosts are just so warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was top-notch.
“Verkrotte locatie/bungalow. Niet boeken!”
The spot was ruined and not fit for a stay; the owner suggested an alternative, blaming the heavy rain, and pointed us toward the Doga Kent Hotel (€81 per night) just 100 m away, saying we had to accept it because nothing else was within driving range and no refund was offered. That substitute fell far short of what we expected – three rooms with only lukewarm showers, breakfast served under a canopy outside, and the nearest supermarket over an hour away. We left a night early, incurring extra costs, and were told at check‑in that meals were included in the price. In the end we were charged €725 for the bungalow as described, plus dinner fees that had to be paid in cash at a price you’d expect at a starred restaurant; after haggling we could only shave off €250, which was all we had on hand. It was an extremely uncomfortable, even threatening, experience for our family, so I would advise not to book here.
“Un petit havre de paix”
The setting of this place is absolutely beautiful and peaceful - it's the perfect spot to unwind. The staff are super friendly and accommodating, which made my stay even more enjoyable. However, there were a few issues with the water temperature and pressure, and the room decor was a bit basic.
