On the surface, this place had a lot going for it – the staff were friendly and helpful, the location was great, and the chill-out areas were nice. However, our superior rooms were a different story altogether, with tatty curtains and a sparse, empty feel that left a lot to be desired. To make matters worse, the rooms were extremely hot, and we had to pay extra for air conditioning.

While the location of this guesthouse was convenient, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, our room left a lot to be desired. We had booked a room without air conditioning and a bathroom, which meant we had to climb stairs to use the facilities. The room itself was tiny, making it difficult to fit our luggage inside. To make matters worse, there were no power sockets in convenient locations, making it a challenge to charge our phones or use a fan.

For the price, this guesthouse offered good value, and its location near the night market and the pier was a major plus. However, the cheap rooms had a major flaw – the windows were essentially non-existent, which was a bit of a letdown. Despite this, the price was still reasonable, and the location made up for the room's shortcomings.

I was initially charmed by the guesthouse's appearance, but my excitement was short-lived. Unfortunately, the room I was given was a major letdown, lacking windows and instead featuring glass shaders that only added to the noise pollution. The view from my room was nothing short of depressing, with a dirty wall mere inches away. To make matters worse, the towels were essentially used rugs, and the shower area was a mess, complete with used toothbrushes on the floor.
