We spent two nights and found everything acceptable; the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and we still remember the dinner and breakfast fondly, plus we secured a room at a great rate for our driver on site. As with many low‑budget places in Sri Lanka, the standards didn’t match what we’re used to in Germany, but for a stop‑over it was perfectly fine.

The view from the windows was superb, but the panoramic windows couldn't open. There is no bar in the hotel, no alcohol, not even beer available. The food was mediocre, and the cards were not accepted.

The spot is spot‑on, the staff are super friendly and helpful, the food tastes good, the pool is amazing with a stunning view, and the room is decent. The towels were oddly colored instead of white, and the lunch and dinner menus should have western options.
