Located on Military Hill in Cork's historic St Lukes area, The Address Cork offers stunning views of the city and harbour. This 19th-century hotel features spacious bedrooms with satellite TV, tea and coffee facilities, and private bathrooms. Many rooms boast high ceilings, original features, and balconies with city views.

There was no air conditioning in midsummer, which made it slightly unbearable at times.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The downstairs bar was lovely for drinks.

The “club” room was fantastic, and the staff—especially at reception—were exceptionally well trained; the property felt grand, spacious, and offered plenty of parking. However, I found it confusing that the gym required a slot booking, which felt off‑putting, and the absence of a sauna or spa was disappointing.

The renovated hospital is a true architectural gem, and the breakfast was delicious. The bar’s atmosphere was a bit underwhelming compared to the cozy vibe of the restaurant.
