The staff (called Ang) were very kind and helpful throughout my stay. Staying in an individual bungalow was quite a unique experience. The three cats living there were especially adorable—I already miss them! 🐱 Laundry service and bike rentals were also available, which was very convenient. There were a couple of minor inconveniences. Sometimes the shower water stopped running, so we had to ask the staff to look into it. Also, noise from neighboring rooms could sometimes be heard, which is understandable given the bungalow-style accommodation

Staying at Indigo Bungalows was unforgettable: the purest, most authentic hospitality on the Gili Islands! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you’re looking for a place to stay on the Gili, you’ve found the perfect spot. Indigo Bungalows isn’t just a beautiful property; it became our real base on the island. In my whole life I’ve never met people kinder, more available, and more heart‑felt. Whatever we needed, they sprang into action with a sincere smile. Their extraordinary willingness showed itself in the little details that made a difference: the scooters— we rented them directly from the staff. When my friend’s scooter ran out of battery, they immediately replaced it without wasting time. Super flexibility: they let us keep the scooters longer than the paid time and didn’t ask for extra money. Port service: when we were leaving, they even offered to pick up the scooters at the port so we didn’t have to haul them with our luggage. Through the owner and staff we also booked a fantastic snorkeling excursion. Any advice or information we asked for, they had a ready solution. About the property itself: the environment and pool were charming; the pool was beautiful and well‑maintained, cleaned continuously during the day. Rooms were very clean, welcoming, and well cared for. Breakfast was served directly in the room and was great! I absolutely recommend their banana pancake; I fell in love with it! A five‑star experience in every way. If I return to the Gili, I’ll go back to them with my eyes closed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the whole staff for making our trip special!

Our stay at this accommodation was a true nightmare; the experience was terribly bad from start to finish. The cabin was in a lamentable state of conservation, with the wood completely splintered and ruined. To top it off, the place was infested: the bed was full of bugs and there were termites everywhere. The situation reached a point where all our clothes and suitcases were completely filled with insects. They should do maintenance. On top of that, the basic services failed completely. In the afternoon we ran out of water; although they supposedly came to fix it, the next morning we were again without supply. We couldn’t sleep all night because we were riddled with bites all over our bodies. I do not recommend this place.
