The staff were friendly, but the facilities fell short – the pool stayed green for five days instead of blue, I had to mention it twice and they ran swimming lessons for outsiders while many people swam in clothes; the gym also attracted non‑guests. For the price, I found it too expensive.

Out of the several hotels we stayed at in Bandung over three weeks, Sari Ater stood out as the only one that failed to provide a refill of water in our room, not even a single bottle. This small oversight left a lasting impression, making our stay somewhat disappointing. Despite this, we chose to stay here for three nights, and the hotel's location was a major draw for us.

The hotel's amenities were underwhelming, with a small air shower, a clogged sink, a dead phone line, and only eight clear TV channels. The bed was also very thin. I was disappointed to find that the second room I was moved to had similar issues. The room itself was quite old.
