The location was excellent for exploring the area and only a short bus ride to the cable cars. The rooms were spacious, and we had a balcony overlooking the valley, which was a plus (photo attached). Johannes and the entire staff were excellent and attentive. The bar area was great for pre‑ or post‑dinner drinks. Breakfast and dinner were high quality with a good selection. The spa, with a swimming pool and sauna, was a lovely way to relax after a long walk or on a rainy day. At check‑out they gave us a jar of marmalade to take home, which was a nice touch, and I would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area. Suggestions: while soap was provided, a separate shampoo and conditioner would be better than an all‑in‑one product for hands, body, and shampoo. It would also be helpful to have a tea/coffee machine and a mini‑fridge in the room, plus slippers for the spa in case guests don’t have them, to go with the gown provided.
