Corfu Country House

We had an amazing time at Corfu Country House; the place is kept clean and feels like a real home. It was sad to leave because Katerina and Vasilis made us feel so welcomed. You can arrive without a plan and Katerina will show you the best spots on the island. The neighborhood is calm, quiet, and the most beautiful part of Corfu (I drove and walked around a lot), with plenty of hiking trails—ask Katerina about mountain number 3 and head there for beautiful olive trees and no crowds—and it’s close to a clean beach with fine sand that won’t hurt your feet. Check the nearby restaurants for great food. It was truly an experience. Thanks again, Katerina, and hope to see you in a few years ❤️

Katherine was the kindest host you could imagine, incredibly helpful throughout our stay and ensuring everything was as pleasant as possible. The accommodation is very close to a beautiful beach, and the area is absolutely amazing—peaceful, relaxing, and surrounded by great beaches. We would definitely recommend Corfu Country House to anyone visiting Corfu.

The best host we have ever had; the location is great and the amenities are excellent. The shower was small.

“I like Gardenos, but the properties need many improvements. An interesting experience, overall.”

The property sits 800 m from Gardenos Beach, which is good, and it’s in a quiet area surrounded by many trees, even though the main road nearby brings noise from lots of cars. It’s close to the Alexandros restaurant, the best in the area. However, there are a few problems: the hallway converted into a kitchen was very small—calling it a kitchen is a stretch, as it only had a double electric hotplate, a kettle, a coffee maker, and a small fridge; there was a mold smell in that hallway (kitchen) area; the very small 21‑inch TV placed on top of the wardrobe made reading any text impossible, and the viewing angle was very poor; the bathroom had poor ventilation and lacked essential accessories.

The towel and linen changes were frequent. The beds were separate.
