The staff were friendly and helpful, though they couldn’t speak English. They tried to take care of us as best they could. The hotel itself feels old, the beds are very hard, the staircase to the room is loose and dangerously slick, and the location is surrounded by rice fields with no view. The rooms were dirty and smelled damp and smoky. You get what you pay for, and it was a cheap stay. The price might be fair, but based on the reviews we expected much more, so the reviews don’t match reality.
