“Solides Hostel, sehr sauber, gute Ausstattung, könnte jedoch besseren Schalldchutz zum Flur hin haben”
A good hostel with good equipment, but the soundproofing is poor.
“近所の氏神の稲荷神社に行けてよかった。”
I chose this place for its ethnic breakfast and great location. The guidebooks were plentiful, but the lending system was confusing and could be clarified to help guests.
The air conditioning worked well, so if you’re sensitive to cold you might feel chilly while sleeping. The bed’s firmness was just right for me, and the dorm’s height meant I didn’t feel cramped. I would have liked to chat more with the owner, who seemed to have many interesting stories (maybe I’m wrong). The dining space was very cramped, sharing the same area as the laundry, which made it a bit unsettling.
“English-focused, good stay.”
The owner spoke good English and showed videos on how to use the room keys and store luggage, which was helpful because there was no language barrier. I had to keep my room key with me at all times since the locks activate automatically. There’s a small table in the common area upstairs after the downstairs café closes. The fridge, freezer, and washing machines are all available. A free shower towel was provided at check‑in. The bedding and bathroom were very clean and the bed was comfortable. The whole place is very friendly to foreigners, with all signs and labels in English. The only downside is that the café entrance is on the second floor and the rooms are on the third floor, both only reachable by stairs.
It was close to the city and convenient for going to the supermarket. The dining area was spacious and the owner was kind, making it a comfortable stay. No complaints.
