How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The owner was super friendly and stayed the night to let our family play pool, darts, and have one last drink. The rooms and corridors weren’t well sound‑proofed, but it didn’t bother us.

The welcome, proximity to our wedding venue, and quality service were great. The bed was smaller than what I’m used to, and the pillows were too soft.

The location was good, the owner is very friendly, and it’s a decent spot for a one‑night layover without spending too much. The hotel is pretty old, the room was fine but the bathroom was tiny—just a plastic built‑in unit that reminded me of a ferry boat. The dining room felt a bit dull, though you can sit outside. The Bouef Bourguignon was tasty and breakfast was decent.

The spot is very close to the vineyards. I’ve known the hotel Champenoise for many years, and my wife and I have had good times there, especially with the food, but the staff in the bar are disappointing for a place of that size; only three rooms are occupied, which is a shame for the new managers—I’ll look for another place for my next stay.

The host has a charming oriental vibe—polite and friendly.
