When we finally arrived at Morro de São Paulo we couldn't locate the place, so I gave Ana a call. She actually came out to meet us, which was a huge relief. The room itself is spotless, airy and quiet – you really feel the peace there. I’d definitely go back.

Ana and Marcos were on point with their service, and I loved that the property was on flat ground so I didn’t have to climb any stairs. The downside is the local crowd: they throw loud parties late into the night and seem to have little respect for visitors, and the police here don’t really step in to help.
