“Deluxe for Animals! Dont book”
The staff were friendly and the breakfast was tasty, but the room was far from the entrance. The staff carried our bags and walked through a rice field to reach our accommodation, which turned out to be a “Deluxe Room” in the middle of nature—quite different from the description. The location next to a river brought a lot of mosquitoes and other insects, and the open front fence let them in. The room had no air conditioning, so we swelled in the heat and humidity all night; a fan was set up and the staff pretended it was sufficient. A Tokay gecko made noises at night, and there were animal droppings under and on top of the bed, which was disgusting. It was an uncomfortable stay and I would not book again. I spoke to a lady in the morning who said this was standard for countryside stays, but I disagree. I don’t want to offend anyone; the lady was very friendly. I’m just warning others that the room is marketed for honeymooners—this feels like an animal trap. Breakfast was good, but we were pressured to have it over text right away, even though check‑out was at 12:00, and we were asked to pick up our luggage with helpers while still eating. It was all a bit weird.
