At dawn, however, we could hear a bit of noise from departing guests and the clatter of carts in the corridor, but otherwise there was nothing to criticize.

The hotel is close to the historic center and offers various services, even though it is located in a peripheral area that isn’t particularly attractive. The room fell short of the accommodation requirements for two people: its total area was 13 m² including services, below the Italian legal minimum of 14 m² excluding services for a double room. This caused a lack of comfort in the room. Moreover, there were no luggage racks, so the bed had to be used for that purpose, further reducing usable space. No informational material about emergency numbers, emergency services, or utilities was provided in the room. The change of bath linens was only for one person, despite repeated requests. There were no chairs, just two practically unusable plastic stools, which made the room’s appearance even more discouraging. The curtain at the window was dirty with noticeable, quite vivid stains.

We loved the room. Even though it was small, it was very well arranged, comfortable and functional. The staff were very friendly and the hotel facilities were always clean and pretty. We also found staff who spoke some Spanish, which made communication a lot easier. My parents were delighted with both the accommodation and the city. It was a very nice experience. The only thing we regretted was that we stayed for such a short time; we would have liked to enjoy the accommodation for more days. Otherwise everything was very good.

“Good location, very clean, helpful staff.”

Really nice, clean, modern hotel in a good location. You can walk to the historic centre in 10-15 minutes. It's easy to get a bus to Dampoort from Sint Pieters station and then a short walk to the hotel. I believe the rooms are small but I was given an accessible room which was massive. The staff were friendly and helpful. A good selection at breakfast. The only tiny issue was the only plug sockets in the room were integrated into the headboard and it was impossible to plug in a UK adaptor to charge my phone. Used the bathroom socket instead
