Anna and Cheryl were warm and helpful even though my stay was brief, and the breakfast was gorgeous. Nothing else to note – it’s lovely. I just wish I had more time!

“Good food and friendly 'staff'. Dogs did bark quite loudly though, which limited my sleep.”

The owner was very helpful on the phone and quickly set up an Uber pickup from the rail station, which was great. Cheryl was very friendly and went out of her way to help. The breakfast was also great. The dogs that live on site barked in the early hours from an outside kennel very close to the rooms. They stopped after 1:15 am, but woke again at 6 am. The second night was better, with no barking until 6 am, though I was awake from 4 am so it didn’t bother me. If not for this, I would have given 9 / 10, but sleep is the most important part of a stay for me, so I had to deduct 2 points, sorry!
