The location and house layout were great, and the bed size and bedroom decor were excellent. Lizzie and John welcomed us warmly and were incredibly hospitable. Nothing else to note.

The location was perfect, on the Badminton Estate, ideal for the RHS Flower Show we attended. The village was quiet and peaceful. Liz and John greeted us with tea and cake in their beautiful garden and made us feel very welcome. The bedroom was clean and comfortable; the private bathroom was next door, so we had to pass through the hall to reach it, but that wasn’t a problem. On the second floor, it felt quite private. Continental breakfast was excellent, with a generous bowl of freshly prepared fruit salad, a freshly baked croissant, and a selection of cereals—delicious. It was a delightful stay in a lovely house with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, and I would definitely book again. Thank you, Liz and John; we had a very enjoyable time. There was nothing we didn’t like.

The house is gorgeous, a true English countryside manor, and the spot was ideal; our room was beautifully furnished and Elizabeth and John were fantastic hosts. After I mixed up my booking dates and arrived a day early, they welcomed us with just two hours’ notice, treating us like family, and I can’t praise our stay enough—absolutely flawless!
