A lovely small hotel in Embrun, perfect for my road‑cycling trip to the mountains. The room was fine, with a fridge and working air‑con. The restaurant was excellent, with properly cooked food and a good menu selection. The breakfast buffet was also very good. I used the pool, jacuzzi and steam room after rides every day. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily come back in the future.

The heated pool, jacuzzi and hammam were fantastic, and walking around the lake with our two dogs—who were also allowed at the hotel—was great; everything was perfect, and we’ll definitely return. The only small issue was the carpet in the rooms when bringing a dog; it’s best to wipe your feet before entering so you don’t stain the floor.
The garden, wellness area, breakfast and bedding were all great. The room orientation and the toilets had problems: the wallpaper was torn and the door latch jammed.
