I was uncomfortable without a window, which is tough for a claustrophobic like me, and there’s no smoking area so smokers can’t even light up in the room—a real drawback; the breakfast lacked fresh juice and the ceiling liner kept dropping tiny wingless insects that made me fear something crawling into my ear at night, so I didn’t enjoy the guesthouse at all, sorry. I’ve already covered everything in the positive part, so that’s my whole rating.

Price was acceptable. I slept above the garage, almost on the street, and heard every car that passed during the night. If I had known this, I would have requested a quieter room.

Everything was clean, the shower was good, and the owner and his daughter are very nice and polite. Even though it’s a cheaper lodge, it didn’t feel worth it for me because of several points: the foam mattress was very firm and uncomfortable, the street noise bothered me since I stayed in the front room with a street-facing window, the pillowcases had a strong sweet smell that I found unpleasant, the bathroom had a smell coming from the drains and the flush didn’t work very well, and the pillows were also uncomfortable.

Location and cleanliness were fine. The mattress was old and extremely deformed—far below the minimum expected.
