The place was lovely and the owners were the warmest and most welcoming. We biked up the hills of Jiufen and struggled to find the spot, but it’s easy to locate if you walk or take a taxi, just above Old Street. The owner stayed in touch, checked on us, offered to pick us up, and waited patiently for our late arrival, which we really appreciated. The room was cozy, the breakfast was outstanding with a beautiful view over Jiufen and the ocean, and the cat was adorable. A perfect, quiet retreat away from Old Street’s noise and crowds.

The owners were kind and helped us with everything, even accepting payment in euros. The breakfast was excellent and the views spectacular. The accommodation is a 3‑minute walk from the tourist area.
