Close to shops and authentic, but the stairs were a hassle and the door was hard to open.

It’s a beautiful, well‑maintained old home that’s clean and in a good location, but the lady managing the place never approached us when we first arrived and we had trouble getting in. The main area of the house smells very bad, so if you have allergies or asthma you’ll definitely have a serious issue. This is not a bed and breakfast, so don’t expect any food or interaction with the staff at any point.

Charming, a great research station, very interesting.

The location is close to downtown Magog, a quiet spot. The room and bed are of good quality, and the first‑floor common area is very large. The house smells closed‑in; the many curtains and other hanging fabrics are dusty.
