We loved everything at the Vert Galant, especially the host’s warm welcome and the tasteful, harmonious décor of the beautiful house. The breakfast matched the quality, and our room was incredibly decorated; this place is a must‑visit.

The welcome was very pleasant and friendly.

The room was roomy, spotless, and offered a great view over the surrounding fields. Breakfast was served on a lovely terrace, but when it started to drizzle the host moved us inside quickly; the food was delicious. The brochure mentioned a hot tub, yet the host said it was only in one of the rooms, which was unclear and a bit disappointing.

The property is lovely with an art‑deco style. The original double room we booked was too small, so we upgraded to a larger room with a jacuzzi, which was lovely but not value‑for‑money in my view. The continental breakfast prepared by the host included dry pastries, one egg, a small plate of cheese, and a small bowl of fruit; when we asked for ham she said “tomorrow.” The toiletries supplied were insufficient for our stay, so we had to buy more.
