The crew was highly engaged with a diverse leisure program, the beds were very comfortable, the location lovely, and the suites quite large; food and drinks were reasonably priced and the breakfast was good. However, the room furnishings feel a bit outdated – missing reading lamps, the sofa and chairs are neither cozy nor stylish, towels are older, wall décor is sparse making the rooms somewhat bare and bleak; the lighting scheme makes them a little dark; showers are cramped and the shower cabins look old; no tea or coffee is provided in the room. The wellness area is fairly small. All in all, the heartfelt effort compensates for the lack of modern upgrades that more invested hotels enjoy.

I loved how quiet the spot was and the kids’ play area was a big plus! Dining at the restaurant was delicious. The only downside was that we only stayed one night.

The location is perfect, the environment is ideal. The staff and owner are friendly, smiling, and helpful. It’s also ideal for groups of friends and families, and the place is well chosen for a perfect rest and for outings.

We stayed for 5 days at this beautiful place and it was absolutely wonderful and very enjoyable, even though it rained a lot that week. We still found a great activity to do each day. A little daily newsletter with breakfast, including activity and hiking suggestions, was a nice touch. They accommodated my 5‑year‑old daughter’s gluten‑ and dairy‑free diet with no trouble, which was a huge plus for us. The Thursday trout evening at the fish hut is a must‑try! The atmosphere was fantastic, and it was a huge experience for my girls to catch their own dinner — even in 18°C weather with light drizzle. We also loved the yoga and kids’ yoga classes. Whenever we had a question or a small issue, the staff handled everything quickly and flexibly. It’s clearly a multi‑generational family‑run hotel, and from what we saw, many guests are families who have been returning for years. Despite that, they were friendly and welcoming to all new guests, including us.
