Honestly liked everything: the owner was extremely friendly, picked us up at the port even though we arrived by public ferry, let us stay in the room until our ferry left, the accommodation is beautiful with huge rooms, the breakfast was hearty—we asked for a lighter option because we don’t eat a lot in the morning, fruit, excellent natural juice, pancakes with coffee, all delicious; nothing to note.

We stayed at Coco Villa and everything was fantastic – especially Wasin, who was incredibly kind, always ensuring everything ran smoothly and helped us sort out excursions and transport. The breakfasts were delicious, and we fell in love with Thoddoo. We strongly recommend staying at Coco Villa and visiting Thoddoo! There was nothing we disliked.

VINI, the host, made us feel like we were visiting a close friend; he was always upbeat, attentive, and went above and beyond. The breakfasts were fantastic and varied, thanks to the chef who prepared them fresh each morning. Though the guesthouse has about 10 rooms and was fully booked, its clever layout offered complete privacy and a very calm, peaceful atmosphere where you barely see other guests. The location is highly convenient; it sits on the main road to the beach but has a 'back door' to a parallel road, making navigation easy. It takes only 5‑7 minutes by bike to reach the bikini beach. Everything was absolutely perfect, with no complaints.

We spent 10 nights at Vini’s place. He greeted us with a coconut and a fresh towel upon arrival and stayed attentive throughout our stay. The room was spotless, with air conditioning – a lifesaver in the heat. They gave us free snorkel fins and we rented bikes to go to the beach, all very simple and comfortable. The local breakfast each day was delightful and varied, so you never get bored. By the way, Simba, the cat at Coco Villa, always greeted us when we entered the room – super adorable. 100 % recommend if you’re looking for an authentic spot with good vibes.
