“Das Hotel war in jeder Hinsicht sehr bescheiden, der Preis aber in keiner Weise gerechtfertigt.”
The spot right by the station was convenient, but the “Superior Doppelzimmer” didn’t live up to my expectations; it promised a city view and sights, yet we only saw the street and the train tracks.
The location was close to the train station, yet the reception area was dirty and the staff were unfriendly.
The hotel’s proximity to the ice rink was a plus, parking spots were available right in front of the hotel, breakfast was simple but tasty, dinner was excellent, beautifully presented and delicious, and the staff were kind. However, the isolation was poor, I could hear the neighboring room’s conversations and TV, street noise was loud, a party was happening on the hotel street making it impossible to sleep, and the décor was not very modern but acceptable.
The staff were very friendly, yet the place was terribly noisy—felt like the neighbors were in my room—and there were no TV channels, which is unbelievable for a cable-less stay.
The place had a great spot and the staff were very friendly, but the room felt cramped, the bed was narrow, and there was only one nightstand, so it didn’t feel like a standard double room to me.
