Finding a hotel that costs only around ¥5,000 these days and turns out to be a luxurious love hotel was a real bargain. The only downsides were that the station at Kanayama was farther than I expected, and when I ordered food I was asked straight away if I wanted a “grand menu” without being told there was a welcome dish, which I only learned about later; I should have double‑checked everything before calling, so part of the fault lies with me.

I really appreciate being able to book this love hotel in advance, which comes in handy. The rooms aren’t cramped like a business hotel, the bath is spacious and the food options are plentiful. I’ve been back many times already.
